Community Website

The COVIDxNOW Community is centered around economic recovery during the pandemic. Our goal, from a technology perspective was to put together methods of collaboration and information sharing during the pandemic. We host a weekly community call with updates from community members, a community website where members can share contact information, post updates and watch recordings of previous calls.

My Role

My role was to select and implement technology to enable platform initiatives and fit our budget, while training key staff on how to work with the new technology, enabling them to work digitally and remotely during the pandemic. I was responsible for running and maintaining all IT assets including web properties, videos, social media, and email marketing.

Community Report

The Community Report was a summary published to report on the activities of COVIDxNOW, summarize the content that had been produced and start integrating social media into our platform, specifically YouTube.

Participatory Design

All aspects of the design encouraged community participation, from open sourcing all of our efforts to outreach on social media.

The data in the report was gathered through surveys, individual interviews, and polls during the community call, and data provided by the community on the COVIDxNOW Community Website. Then presented back to the community in the form of data visualizations and infographics.
